At Urban Company, we believe in creating a safe and supportive environment for all members of our community, here's introducing Project Nidar for our service partners facing domestic violence and abuse. Through Project Nidar, we are driving extensive awareness program to combat domestic violence and abuse, because we believe that everyone deserves to feel safe and supported.

Under Project Nidar, we have partnered with the Invisible Scars Foundation , an esteemed NGO dedicated to supporting survivors of gender-based violence, to implement this comprehensive policy. Together, we will provide a range of essential services to our service partners, including counseling, legal assistance, emergency lodging support, medical aid, and financial assistance.

Abhiraj Singh Bhal, CEO and Co-founder, said “Urban Company is a people-first organization and the well-being of our Service Partners is one of our core priorities. We recognize the deep and lasting psychological impact of domestic violence and abuse, and want to set up a robust support system for our service partners. Women comprise about 35% of our partner fleet which makes ’Project Nidar’ even more critical and has been carefully crafted with gender experts to not only provide tangible medical and financial support, but also raise awareness about domestic violence and abuse.”

It’s #InternationalVolunteerDay today, and we’re celebrating our incredible Urban Company volunteer community, who have pledged their time and effort towards creating vibrant spaces for school children.

In the last one year, they've transformed school surroundings and classrooms for over 1,600 students, infusing creativity and color onto walls creating shared learning spaces such as libraries and sports areas.

Our employee volunteers swapped their laptops for paintbrushes and office walls for a canvas at the Welfare Society for Persons with Hearing and Speech Impairment, Gurugram.
