🎓 Vorige week donderdag was een bijzondere dag bij Urban Crop Solutions! We mochten een groep enthousiaste studenten van de Techniekacademie van Hogeschool Vives Kortrijk verwelkomen. 🌱 Tijdens hun bezoek kregen deze jonge talenten de kans om hun eigen mini indoorfarm te bouwen. Onder begeleiding van ons team maakten ze kennis met de basisprincipes van verticale landbouw en ervaarden ze van dichtbij hoe technologie de toekomst van voedselproductie vormgeeft. 💡 De studenten gingen vol enthousiasme aan de slag, van het ontwerpen van de infrastructuur tot het kiezen van de juiste gewassen. Het was indrukwekkend om te zien hoe snel ze leerden en hoe creatief ze omgingen met de uitdagingen die bij het bouwen van een indoorfarm komen kijken. Deze ervaring gaf hen niet alleen technische kennis, maar ook een beter begrip van duurzaamheid en innovatie in de landbouwsector. 👩🔧👨🔧 We zijn enorm trots op de samenwerking met de Techniekacademie van Hogeschool Vives Kortrijk en hopen dat deze dag de studenten heeft geïnspireerd om verder te denken over hun rol in de toekomstige voedselvoorziening. 🚧 Since last week there has been a lot of activity in the facade greenhouse of Agrotopia. Urban Crop Solutions has started the construction of the first tower of Inagro's innovative vertical growing installation. 🚧 🌱 This tower is a first of three 10-meter towers with 18 moving tables per tower. Growing on several layers maximizes the use of space.
