We are SO proud of our very own, Amr Basha Head of Product, for completing yesterday’s #BerlinMarathon2023🏅- and with such an incredible time too 🙌!

Amr Basha ran alongside just under 48K runners 🏃♂️ from around 150 different nations, on a sunny Sunday through 42.1KM of Berlin 🇩🇪.

Amr’s hard work and dedication to this goal of achieving a full marathon, all while leading an entire team within Urban Sports Club, and last but certainly not least, being a loving father and husband - is an incredible feat. We simply couldn't be more impressed 🤩!

Last Friday, Moritz Kreppel, our Urban Sports Club Co-Founder, attended the #BerlinStartupNight and took part in the VC Panel called "Thrive and come out stronger in a challenging environment” by GP Bullhound 🙌.

We, at Urban Sports Club, have just launched our new campaign with a focus on our corporate fitness offering 🙌. This campaign meant a lot to us, as we shift even more into the #B2B industry, we wanted to make it a clear statement - that sports can improve the wellbeing of employees. In order to achieve a long-term impact on society, we want to draw attention to the fact that #corporatefitness should be part of every company’s employee wellbeing program - because that’s how modern working works.

For this TVC we worked together with cndy film GmbH from #Hamburg 🇩🇪 with Niko Maronn and Tobias Aubel as the project’s directors. In close cooperation with Sebastian Kortmann (director), the film concept for several spots was developed and filled with catchy images 📸. Filming took place our partner locations Prime Time fitness GmbH, SOULTIDE The Studio Hamburg, and at the Bäderland Bartholomäus #Therme.

Internally, creative direction was handled by Oliver Glutz von Blotzheim (Head of #Brand and #Design) together with his team consisting of Javier Mangas Pinto (Team Lead Brand Design), and Tino Scholz (Editorial Team Lead).

Club members can choose from more than 50 types of sports – ranging from classic gym workout, swimming, yoga, or bouldering, to team sports, wellness and lots more – and more than 10.000 partner venues in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Belgium. Variety, flexible conditions as well as team sports and wellness are offered both for private customers and companies.
Urban Sports GmbH was founded in 2012 by Moritz Kreppel and Benjamin Roth in Berlin, Germany. After two years of bootstrapping, the company secured an early-stage financing in 2015 and went on to acquire four of its German competitors, starting with Somuchmore in December, 2016. In January 2018, FITrate came on board, with INTERFIT following in December of the same year. OneFit joined the Urban Sports Club family in August of 2019.
