The initial network of vertiports will include the reference areas of the founding partners and may be extended to other geographical areas. 
We have the ambition to be among the first in the world to launch Advanced Air Mobility commercial networks, starting from Rome where we plan to activate the first route (Fiumicino Airport - Rome City Center) by 2024.

We are thrilled to announce we have officially signed an agreement with Cluster2 | تجمع مطارات الثاني , a major aviation player managing 22 airports across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This collaboration marks a key milestone in our commitment to making Advanced Air Mobility a feasible, safe and sustainable solution for future transportation globally. Together with Cluster2, we aim to create an ecosystem for regulatory support, route evaluation, network planning, design and construction, vertiport management, terminal and airside operations in Saudi Arabia. UrbanV was supported by Yellowknife & Partners in the negotiation and preparatory work that led to this agreement. We are delighted to announce that we signed an agreement with Korea Airports Corporation (KAC, 한국공항공사) , a company comprehensively managing 14 airports in Korea, to develop vertiport networks and build an #AAM ecosystem. Together, we intend to exchange data and best practices regarding UAM activities and access each other's #UAM ecosystems in order to provide tangible support for feasibility assessment and UAM analysis with relevant stakeholders. Our collaboration represents a key step towards the entry into service of Advanced Air Mobility - mutual learning and benchmarking are strategic elements to enable safe, efficient and sustainable operations in city skies in the near future. Today we hosted an Expert Judgement Workshop at Rome Fiumicino Airport in the context of the EUREKA SESAR3 Fast Track project in which we gathered a broad group of experts to discuss the concepts and technologies behind vertiport network flow, capacity and operational management, as part of the validation plan of Solution 4. The conversation focused mainly on the integration of vertiport networks and U-space to allow efficient and safe operations, introducing the innovative stakeholder of the Vertiport Network Manager. On October 1st our Head of Operations Calogero Giammusso participated to the UIC2 Workshop at Civitas Forum in Parma presenting UrbanV solutions for the integration of #UAM within European cities to contribute to a future of more sustainable and safer urban mobility. It was great to present the Italian perspective on UAM that is rapidly developing thanks to the leadership of ENAC - Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile , represented at the event by Eng. Davide Drago , that few months ago published the first Italian Regulations for #IAM to ensure the safety and compliance of the sector. Yesterday, our CEO Carlo Tursi and our #AAM Project Manager, Marika Lombardi partecipated respectively to an institutional round table in the morning and to the panel “AAM Coming On-line” in the afternoon, during the U-Space Workshop at Università degli Studi Roma Tre . U-space was introduced with EU Regulation 2021/664 to address the growing need for the safe, efficient and regulated integration of drones into the airspace, ensuring coexistence with traditional aircraft and promoting new services and economic activities related to the use of low-altitude airspace. At UrbanV we are working every day to promote technological innovations, commercial development and the integration of drones and eVTOLs into key sectors such as logistics and urban mobility, further strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of the European drone industry as well as decarbonization. #AdvancedAirMobility #UrbanAirMobility
