In a recent legal move, ExxonMobil has filed a complaint to block a Scope 3 emission reduction proposal submitted by Arjuna Capital and Follow This.

In a remarkable pro bono victory, Vinson & Elkins' Rebecca Matthews, Eugene Temchenko, Paul Hill, Joshua Jilovec, and Elizabeth Ramsey, secured a dismissal in an eviction case on January 8, 2024. 

Starting their journey with the client at a Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program clinic in June 2023, the team navigated challenges, including delays from state agencies. Facing a second eviction suit, the V&E team identified procedural errors and volunteered to physically move the tenant, resulting in an unappealable dismissal and a fresh start for the client. #ProBonoWin #WeAreVE
