As SkyCap continues its strong operational execution, the Company was looking to strengthen its capital structure with an institutional credit provider to support its accelerated growth plans and growing loan book/originations. The Solution: Ventum’s Debt Capital Markets, with its extensive experience/expertise in the specialty finance industry, leveraged its leading US and Canadian capital provider network to run a competitive process to achieve optimal terms and meet management's objectives. SkyCap entered into a US$50MM credit facility, including a US$15MM accordion, with a leading capital provider and credible partner for SkyCap to accelerate the growth of its loan book. Ventum acted as the exclusive financial advisor to SkyCap in connection with the transaction.

The Company was looking to strengthen its balance sheet by refinancing and consolidating its maturing debt facilities that had various collateral packages. The Solution: Ventum Capital Markets, with its extensive experience and expertise across the U.S. cannabis space and debt capital markets, leveraged its leading U.S. and Canadian capital provider network to run a competitive process to achieve the optimal terms and objectives of management. TerrAscend entered into a US$140MM committed non-dilutive credit facility with a leading institutional capital provider, that provides the Company with a credible partner and provides for flexibility on its balance sheet.
