We've been celebrating our birthday month in style! It all started with an exciting opportunity for our community to win a spot on our wellness retreat later in the year. Earlier this week, we chatted to Lauren Morgan and asked her about her career journey and time at Vida Glow, here's what she said: What is your role at VIDA GLOW? I am the Innovation Brand Manager. My role is to come up with new product concepts and work to bring them to life with the help of my teammates & the wider team. What is your favourite thing about working at VIDA GLOW? The team! Everyone is so incredibly talented & inspiring which makes producing high quality work so much easier. We also get so well looked after by our P&C team, they always have an activity planned, including weekly pilates which I love! Favourite VG product and why? Gut Pro! I take it religiously every morning and it helps me so much with my digestion every day. I also never go a day without Collagen Liquid Advance. They are my two staples. Something you like to do in your spare time / a fun fact about yourself? I teach a fun adult’s dance class every Monday night after work. I grew up dancing and have been teaching for over 10 years now. I love having this outlet where I can continue a passion of mine & stay connected to the girls in the community. Any Tips for someone looking to get into the Beauty Industry? Be open to opportunities initially, even if it’s not exactly where you want to be when you begin. Most companies are supportive of growth and will provide greater opportunities if you show initiative. I started interning in digital marketing at a pharmaceutical company that had beauty brands just to get my foot in the door, then was able to work my way into brand management under the beauty division in the same company. This provided me with a good foundation to then secure future roles more aligned with where I wanted to be. #VidaGlowCareers #LifeatVG
