Vinted Marketplace is the largest online international C2C marketplace in Europe dedicated to second-hand fashion, with a growing member base of over 80 million registered members spanning 20 markets in Europe and North America. With a mission to make second-hand the first choice worldwide, Vinted enables people to sell and buy second-hand clothes and lifestyle items from each other, helping give those items a second or even third life.

Vinted Go is a new brand and business from Vinted, and focused on developing products and solutions for more seamless shipping and delivery across Europe. Vinted Go has connected more than 40 carriers and more than 200,000 PUDO points across Europe to support the delivery of millions of parcels per year.

Vinted was founded in 2008 in Lithuania and in 2019 became the country’s first Unicorn. Today Vinted is still headquartered in Vilnius, with offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, Hamburg, Kaunas and Prague and over 1,800 employees. We recently unveiled our Item Verification Service. 

When buying eligible designer items on Vinted, buyers will be given the option at checkout to choose to have one of our experts check their item for authenticity at one of our verification hubs.

Now we’re looking for experienced Authentication/Brand Experts with in-depth knowledge and the ability to distinguish between original designer items and copies to join our teams in Hamburg and London.

In your role, you’ll be checking the authenticity of the many designer second-hand pieces that we see daily, and mentoring junior colleagues.

We're celebrating 15 years of Vinted. What began as a brilliant idea at a party in 2008 has grown into a thriving business, with millions of members across Europe and beyond.

Over the past decade and a half, we've helped people to buy and sell second-hand items in an easy, affordable and trustworthy way. And buying second-hand on Vinted is a better choice for the climate than buying new. On average, shopping for a second-hand item on Vinted instead of something new saves about 1.8kg of CO₂ emissions (per our Climate Change Impact Report, 2023).

Let’s get the Celebrations & Holidays started! We’re excited to announce that we’ve added this new item category to our Marketplace.

Our members will be able to get their homes ready for cozy season, by buying and selling decorative items, supplies, festive accessories and party decorations for all kinds of holidays and celebrations.

With many party supplies often only being bought and used once, the option to buy them from our marketplace is another positive step for our community and our shared mission to make an impact by buying second-hand on Vinted instead of new.

Recently our annual End-of-Year event took place across all our European locations, including Amsterdam, Berlin, France, Hamburg, Kaunas, and Vilnius.

The theme was 'Kaleidoscope', and it was chosen to inspire an atmosphere of growth, togetherness, and reflection.

We celebrated two significant milestones – Vinted's 15th anniversary and the conclusion of another year of collaboration.

Our team had a great time participating in a variety of activities, including getting the creative juices flowing at our craft workshops, indulging in some delicious snacks and enjoying some live tunes.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made it a day to remember. Here's to another year of growing together!


Earlier this year, we opened up a new office space in Kaunas, Lithuania. We now have over 100 employees hybrid working from this location – which is set up specifically to meet the various needs of our teams. Some employees use the space regularly, while others prefer to work from home and come into the office for team gatherings or shorter time periods. 

The new office space is located in the ‘Drobės Fabrikas’ building; a charming, historic building that’s been given a second life. This now urban-style space reflects our mission and values and is the perfect creative spot for our teams to collaborate and thrive.
