25 human cases of #H5N1 #influenza in the US so far this year. Vivaldi's H5N1 nasal-spray vaccine was safe and immunogenic in a Phase 1 clinical trial, with 75% of study volunteers showing seroconversion after a single dose, and 92% showing this antibody response level after 2 doses.

The RRPV is a consortium formed by the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) to accelerate medical countermeasure product and technology development to address evolving needs including pandemic influenza, emerging infectious diseases, and other biological threats.
