SPAR Austria is taking a significant leap in its digital transformation by partnering with VusionGroup to implement cutting-edge multicolor smart electronic shelf labels (ESLs) and VusionCloud across 200 of its stores by the end of this year.

Following extensive testing, SPAR Austria begins rolling out smart electronic shelf labels (ESL) in stores. The multi-coloured ESL units ensure shoppers a modern and convenient shopping experience and digital price labelling for store employees. By year-end, 200 SPAR Supermarkets comprising both company-owned and independently-owned stores, will be equipped with ESL.

Digitalisierung: Offensive mit elektronischen Preisschildern bei SPAR 💡
 
Preisauszeichnung soll einfach, digital und ansprechend sein – bringt aber im Lebensmittelhandel durchaus Herausforderungen mit sich. Nach einer umfangreichen Testphase mit wertvollen Erkenntnissen und einer großen Portion IT-Eigenleistung der SPAR ICS - Information & Communication Services starten wir nun eine groß angelegte Initiative zur Einführung elektronischer Regaletiketten. Bis Ende des Jahres werden über 200 unserer Märkte mit multicolor smart electronic shelf labels, kurz ESL, ausgestattet sein.
 
Gemeinsam mit der VusionGroup wurden spezifische Komponenten entwickelt, die den Anforderungen des Lebensmittelhandels gerecht werden. Die neuen 4-farbigen ESLs ermöglichen genaue Echtzeit-Produkt- und Preisinformationen. Kund:innen profitieren von präzisen Preisen, während unsere Mitarbeitenden durch die vereinfachte Regalpflege entlastet werden.
 
Die elektronischen Regaletiketten wurden bereits unter anderem im SPAR-Gründermarkt in Kufstein und dem EUROSPAR in Eugendorf installiert.
