Global demographic shifts are already having a significant impact on economies, healthcare, and social security systems. 

Looking ahead, the number of people aged 65+ is projected to double by 2050, then triple by 2100 to 2.5bn people. Meanwhile, the 25-64 cohort is expected to grow from 4bn to 5bn by 2050.

We believe that income growth across tech-native Millennials and Gen Z, along with an increasingly tech-savvy older population and the largest inter-generational wealth transfer in history, will drive huge changes in online consumer behaviours.

It's often said that the strongest startups emerge in the hardest of times.

Extremely proud of Maximilian Wuhr, Nikolai Schröder, Jürgen Lobach, Max Beyer, Jan Hansen, Karen Brandt, Andreas Stryz, Maarten van der Valk and the whole FINN team. Most startups had to adapt over the last 24 months with the shift in the funding landscape as we've gone from a "growth at all costs" world to sustainable businesses with sound economics. However, few startups also had to deal with turbulence in the auto market for the last 4 years - from challenges in sourcing vehicles initially due to chip shortages, with used car price drops and interest rate rises which have affected some of FINN's competitors significantly.

Today FINN is at over €160m ARR, on a clear path to profitability (even prior to this round), and can use this €100m to continue its growth and meet the demand for the product which we've been seeing across both B2B and B2C in Germany and internationally.

Congratulations to TIER Mobility and Dott on merging to become Europe's leading micro-mobility operator! 
		
With combined revenues of €250m and over 125 million trips a year across 20 countries, this merger positions both companies as key catalysts in providing more sustainable transport options, while reducing pollution and congestion across Europe.

We are excited to announce a preliminary agreement with Dott to bring our two companies together to form Europe’s leading micro-mobility operator. With our combined expertise, the joint entity will provide riders and cities in more than 20 countries with a safe and reliable service.

With operations in major global cities including Berlin, Brussels, Dubai, Helsinki, London, Madrid, Paris, Rome, Tel Aviv and Warsaw, the business will be well positioned to be profitable and support the transition to more sustainable transport. 

The deal will be backed by a mix of existing shareholders from both TIER and Dott, led by Mubadala Capital and Sofina, and including Estari, M&G, Prosus Ventures, Novator and White Star Capital, which are investing €60 million in equity to support the long-term vision of the new joint business.
