Yesterday, we resumed our LieferMichel operations in Michelstadt/Odenwald and now additionally offer a selection of non-prescription medicines from a local pharmacy. This adds a whole new category to our product range that residents had explicitly requested. 
 
Since delivering medical supplies (in a B2B context) has always been part of our DNA, delivering medicines directly to the end customer for the first time is an exciting learning experience and an important milestone in this project. And for sick residents, it offers the opportunity to access medicine without having to leave the house.
 
The range of goods that users can have delivered conveniently and with zero emissions to their home now includes groceries from the local REWE Center, local produce from Odenwaldbox, fan merchandise from SV Darmstadt 1898 e.V. as well as medicines.

LieferMichel continues… As many of you know, our grocery delivery project “LieferMichel” in Odenwald was originally scheduled to run until end of 2023. We are delighted to have been granted a project extension by the German Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport as the pilot project funder. Together with our partners from the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, we will now be able to collect further valuable data and insights. We will resume operations next week and continue at least until end of March 2024.

We are excited to share the news of a major milestone in our collaboration with the ZAL Center of Applied Aeronautical Research: the maiden flight of a hydrogen-powered Wingcopter 198 prototype. 
 
Conducted under real-world conditions, this test flight marks a very first but significant step in our journey towards a powerful and environmentally friendly alternative to batteries. It promises to drastically increase the drone's range and expand its use cases.  
 
While celebrating this initial accomplishment, we are already focused on the next phases of development. These include the integration of essential components into the Wingcopter's structure and extensive testing of the system's durability, serviceability, and payload capabilities, furthering our commitment to innovation and excellence in drone technology.
