RECORD PRODUCTION IN 2023

“Our expanded global portfolio delivered record production in 2023. Fourth quarter production reflected the completion of planned turnaround and maintenance activities at the North West Shelf and Shenzi. Pluto LNG also maintained its strong production performance, again achieving 99.9% reliability during the period,” said Woodside CEO Meg O’Neill. 

 “Woodside’s growth projects are being delivered as planned. We have strong momentum on the Scarborough Energy Project following receipt of regulatory approvals in December for key offshore work scopes. We’ve already completed the seismic survey, nearshore pipelay installation is almost complete and we’ve commenced pipelay work in Commonwealth waters. Earlier this month, we spud the first production well in our drilling program.”

As our recently named Country Manager, Kellyanne represents the bright future of the industry and embodies the drive and technical expertise that will keep the firm’s Trinidad and Tobago operations at the forefront of safety delivery and performance optimization.  The theme of the conference is ‘Accelerating Action’ - and this comes easily to Kellyanne, who understands the nature of Trinidad and Tobago’s oil and gas business as well as the opportunities for tomorrow.

Meet Mo!

Mo is a graduate for Subsea Integration Alliance, who has been working at CIVMEC in Henderson WA, to deliver the subsea structures for the Scarborough Energy Project. Once installed, the structures will sit some 950 m below the ocean at the Scarborough field.

Mo and the team are just one example of the thousands of people who are working on the Scarborough Energy Project to deliver reliable energy to Australia and the world from right here in our own backyard.

Woodside Energy is proud to announce our first R&D collaboration with a US university! We’re contributing US$12.5 million over 5 years to establish the Woodside-Rice Decarbonization Accelerator in collaboration with Rice University in Houston. 

By bringing together Rice's expertise in nanomaterials and chemistry, with Woodside’s operating experience, the accelerator will aim to develop carbon utilization technologies at meaningful scale. We want to use them, but we also want them to be available to help decarbonize industry. Together, we hope to give the carbon to products market a jump start.
