🌍 Strengthening Our South Africa Associate Engineering Program 🚀

Last month, our experienced engineers at Zepz worked hand-in-hand with our Associate Engineers on our Associate Engineering Program in South Africa. The primary goal was to boost our associates' capabilities in building integrations. Here's a brief overview of the highlights gained from this trip!

• Our teams successfully worked on various integrations that have a key impact on our payout services
• Our Associate Engineers made remarkable progress in a short time with API responses, credential acquisition, and task organisation
• The trip helped to build stronger relationships and improved collaboration between our engineers and associates

The Associate Engineers will continue to build on what they have learned with close guidance from their mentors throughout the course of their time and receive regular support to unlock new levels of learning.

For every money transfer sent to Pakistan and Morocco during Ramadan, we're offering a free iftar meal to those in need, with a goal of distributing 30,000 meals in total. 🥙

Our CEO Mark Lenhard, was recently interviewed by TechFinancials about our plans for expansion and talent acquisition across Africa 🚀.

Africa is a rapidly growing market with incredible potential. We're keen to make the most of this potential, drive growth across the continent and expand our reach to better serve our users. By acquiring new companies and talent, we believe we can achieve this goal whilst also creating new job opportunities.

Mark says in the interview:

“We will strive to provide products and services that will serve the world from SA.
 
The only way we can really serve our customers well is to employ some of them. We have found phenomenal talent in South Africa.
 
We will probably hire 75 more people, mainly in Johannesburg and Cape Town”
