Amplified Sciences is transforming diagnostic solutions with their innovative PanCystPro technology, designed to detect diseases like pancreatic cancer earlier and more efficiently. Since its founding, Amplified Sciences, Inc. has raised over $5M in funding. This includes a 2021 Series Pre-Seed of $1.78M and a 2024 Series Seed Preferred of $2.6M, co-led by OCA Ventures and Elevate Ventures. They have secured $1.4M from NIH's National Cancer and from the National Science Foundation in highly selective and prestigious SBIR grant competitions. Additionally, Amplified Sciences has also garnered significant recognition as a winner in various highly competitive pitch competitions for young companies throughout the US including Med City Invest (Chicago), RESI (Boston), Most Fundable Companies (LA), Endless Frontier Lab (NYC), Entrepreneurial Allstars (Indianapolis). Diana offers key advice to fellow founders: “Build the right team around you, diverse in skills and expertise, and keep pushing through challenges. If you aren’t hearing five no’s a week during fundraising, you’re probably not doing enough.”

XLerateHealth is excited to share that our Healthcare Design Thinking course is up and running at Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy! Students from the schools of Pharmacy, Occupational Therapy, and Business are using a human-centered design approach to innovation, and are working to address real-world critical issues such as: - Optimizing community pharmacy operations based on performance metrics - Improving efficiency in free clinics serving low-income populations - Addressing the needs of individuals with sensory processing issues - Streamlining medication distribution - Mitigating violence in clinical settings From conducting primary market research and analyzing user experiences to generating solutions -- students are actively working on projects that aim to reshape the future of healthcare in rural communities. XLerateHealth is enterprise-focused and will help early stage healthcare companies build out their commercialization strategy, which includes their intersection with Payers, Providers (hospitals, ACOs, nursing homes, home health and group practices), and customers (employers and/or consumers).

XLerateHealth will support two types of pre-venture-funded portfolio companies: affiliates, which have already made substantial progress in developing beta sites, strategic relationships, etc.;  and startups, which are very early stage healthcare companies who will need intensive mentorship and support. The role of the accelerator for the Affiliate companies is to provide mentorship and networking for them to support their commercialization and institutional fundraising efforts.
