Pleased to announce the opening of the first $1.048 million progress prize for the Artificial Intelligence Mathematical Olympiad (AIMO) Prize, on the Kaggle platform!
 
This first progress prize includes problems at intermediate-level high school mathematics competitions, but do not reach IMO difficulty. It is open from 1 April to 27 June, with the first prizes to be distributed to up to five teams in July 2024 at the 65th IMO in Bath, UK.
 
First Progress Prize Details:
 
• $1.048 million prize pool.
• The Kaggle platform's private leaderboard will determine the distribution of the first $253,952 in prizes among the top five teams, based on minimum performance criteria, in July.
• Remainder of the pool will go to the first team scoring at least 47/50 on both public and private leaderboards. If not won, it will roll over to the next year's prize pool.
• Eligibility for prizes requires the open publication of the teams' code, methodology, data, and model parameters.

Delighted to announce the launch of XTY Labs, our new machine learning division, to be headed by newly appointed Research Director, Dr. Atlas Wang!

XTY Labs is set to become a hub for elite machine learning researchers in New York and will be home to the new 'XTY Labs AI Residency Program', offering researchers short-term AI residency contracts ranging from 6-12 months.

The program is designed to provide elite researchers with the freedom, guidance and resources to create cutting-edge machine learning solutions tailored for the complexities of finance.
There are two pathways within the AI Resident Program, designed to accommodate professionals at varying stages of their research careers, with both Junior and Senior AI residencies, each tailored to align with the applicants' research experience and expertise.
 
Top-performers from the program will have the opportunity to transition into the core quantitative team of XTX Markets.
