Founded in 1948 in Besançon (Doubs) by Henry Louis Belmont, Yema stand out from the rest by virtue of their specific design and technological characteristics.

From 1960 to 1980 have been the golden years for Yema as it has distinguished itself by being one of the most important French brand in the watchmaking manufacturer industry and also becomes the leading exporter of French watches at the CETEHOR, a national organization which has become the reference center in watchmaking, microtechnology and jewelery. A new key partner for YEMA! YEMA, located in the cradle of French watchmaking, in Morteau, has reached a new milestone by signing the entry of the GEI fund into its capital as part of a minority recapitalization of several million euros. This equity contribution will enable YEMA to continue its expansion, scale up production and provide the brand with additional cutting-edge, high-performance watchmaking equipment. The recent completion of its transition into a watchmaking “Manufacture”, has enabled YEMA to reach numerous milestones i.e. the internalization and relocation of manufacturing of watch components, the expansion and modernization of its workshops and production lines, the acquisition of numerical control machines and the launch of three Manufacture calibers, the CMM.10 (3 hands), the CMM.20 (Micro-Rotor ) and the CMM.30 (Tourbillon). This key partnership with an entrepreneurial investment fund very active in the East of France, illustrates YEMA’s desire to establish itself sustainably as a French Watchmaking Manufacture of quality and tradition. Pascal Bôle retains management of the brand: “The transition from a watchmaking assembler model to a Manufacture is an ambitious challenge and requires numerous resources. With GEI we surround ourselves with a valuable partner while preserving the traditional watchmaking craftsmanship and family-owned character of the brand.” Christopher Bôle, Managing Director: “Following the sharp growth of YEMA’s Manufacture collection these last couple of years, it seemed essential to us to strike a key partnership to back the brand at the growth stage of its development.” Pierrick Jeannot, GEI Associate Director: “We are proud to join this industrial adventure to support the unique know-how that characterizes the brand. 42 765€ pour l’ Entraide Marine-Adosm ! 🇫🇷 La maison horlogère YEMA est très fière de s'engager auprès des marins et des familles de marins en apportant son soutien à l' Entraide Marine-Adosm ! Depuis 2020 et en tant que partenaire officiel de la Marine Nationale , nous avons toujours eu le souhait et la volonté de contribuer d'une part à améliorer les conditions de vie de tous les marins mais également d'apporter tout notre soutien à leurs familles lorsqu'elles connaissent de graves difficultés, ainsi qu’aux blessés et aux familles endeuillées. L’ Entraide Marine-Adosm cherche également à favoriser la formation professionnelle des blessés et des conjoints de marins qui ont souvent dû mettre de côté une continuité d’emploi, voire la possibilité d’en exercer un. C’est pourquoi, sur chacune des ventes de montres réalisées en collaboration entre YEMA et la marque Marine nationale, une partie du montant est reversée à l’association Entraide Marine-Adosm .
