Ermenegildo Zegna Group held today its 2023 Capital Markets Day at the New York Stock Exchange unveiling updated Group strategy following TOM FORD FASHION acquisition and strong medium term financial outlook.
 
Ermenegildo “Gildo” Zegna, Chairman and CEO of the Zegna Group, said: “Almost two years ago, we stood in this same historic place to ring the Opening Bell and begin our life as a public company as the very first Italian luxury fashion company to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It was a proud moment for me, for my family, and for the entire Group – the culmination of a personal dream, and the starting point of an exciting new phase for the Group and of Our Road To Tomorrow.
 
Several months later, at our first Capital Markets Day held at Oasi Zegna in May 2022, we shared our medium-term financial outlook. I am pleased to say that today we are ahead of the plans we presented back then.”

Ermenegildo Zegna Group today announced robust growth with unaudited revenues of €431 million for the third quarter of 2023. Revenues were up 20.8% year-over-year and up 25.0% year-over-year on a constant currency basis, with an organic growth rate of 11.3%. For the first nine months of the year, unaudited revenues came in at €1,334 million, up 22.9% year-over-year and up 24.8% year-over-year on a constant currency basis, with an organic growth rate of 19.2%.

These quarter revenues support the Group’s FY 2023 and mid-term outlook.

Ermenegildo Zegna Group today announced strong first-half 2023 financial results with profit of €52.1 million and a profit margin of 5.8%, for the six months ended June 30, 2023, off revenues of €903.1 million for the same period, as announced on July 27, 2023.
The Group recorded Adjusted EBIT of €119.9 million for the six months ended June 30, 2023, an increase of 45.0% year-over-year compared to €82.7 million in the first six months of 2022, demonstrating broad-based-strength.
The company reaffirmed its mid-term targets and announced its Capital Markets Day to be held in New York on December 5, 2023.

Ermenegildo Zegna Group today announced robust preliminary unaudited revenues of €903 million for the first half of 2023, an increase of 23.9% year-over-year, and 21.5% organic growth. Double-digit organic growth for both the Zegna and Thom Browne segments in the first half of 2023.

Ermenegildo Zegna Group today announced the appointment of Lelio Gavazza to the newly created position of CEO, TOM FORD FASHION, effective September 18, 2023.

As CEO of TOM FORD FASHION, Gavazza will be responsible for the end-to-end of the TOM FORD FASHION business, from collection development to merchandising, through production as well as retail and wholesale distribution. 

Gildo Zegna commented: “Lelio’s track record of strong global leadership brings outstanding luxury expertise to TOM FORD FASHION across retail management, wholesale distribution, marketing, digital and key markets, including China. I have personally known and appreciated Lelio for many years, and I’m confident that his world-class business acumen, deep international experience, and leadership skills will prove invaluable in the development of the TOM FORD FASHION business globally.” 

Lelio will work closely with Guillaume Jesel, President and CEO, TOM FORD, ensuring the alignment of fashion with the holistic luxury strategy for the brand.
