We’ve been named in one of 27 ‘startups to watch’ in Sifted’s Semiconductors 2.0 briefing. What a great start to the year!

Congratulations to CORNERSTONE (University of Southampton & University of Glasgow)! It’s great to see UKRI award them with an IKC grant. ZPM are proud to have supported their application with Lia Li representing the industry and startup voice during the interview stages, highlighting the importance of photonics to the semiconductor industry within the UK and beyond. Lia will contribute to this project to by continuing to represent industry and startups as well as providing startup mentorship.

Zero Point Motion, along with project partners, WAE, University of the West of England and Royal Institute of Navigation, have been awarded a £1.4 million grant, as part of Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles Commercialising CAM Supply Chain Competition, to progress towards automotive certification of  ZPM’s optically-enhanced chip-scale IMUs. In parallel UWE and RIN will be hosting events to enable discussion on topics around sensor fusion, safety and resilience with the UK Position, Navigation and Timing community (so watch this space!)
