Returning to strong teamwork and genuine support ✨
 
Meet Izumi Yoshida, a mechanical engineer whose path intertwined with ZF in 2017. After a brief but impactful time, life led him away for family reasons. Fast forward to 2023, and he returns as a Customer Engineering Manager (CEM) based in Yokohama, Japan.
 
The reason for his return? A vivid memory from 2017. Facing an important deadline for a prototype vehicle from Germany, Yoshida encountered an unexpected challenge. In a race against time, colleagues from across the globe extended a helping hand. "We didn't just keep in touch but worked together as a close team every day and delivered it safely in the end," he recalls. 🤝 
 
Yoshida was deeply impacted by the strong teamwork and genuine support he experienced at ZF. It really stuck with him and reflected the company's values. 
 
As a CEM, Yoshida plays a pivotal role now in bridging customer engineers and in-house engineers. Despite the daily challenges, he finds joy and fulfillment in the learning experience ZF offers. 💻

"When I first stepped into my role as an Organizational Project Manager, I faced a challenge: despite being young and relatively new to ZF, my extensive experience in Project Management and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) set me apart. 📈

With a wealth of knowledge under my belt, I was entrusted with the task of not only leading projects but also adding my perspective to the expertise of the whole team. 💡

Fortunately, I was not left alone to navigate this journey. I experienced that at ZF knowledge sharing and teamwork are not just fancy “corpo” terms, but they really are part of our everyday life. I was entrusted to enrich the know-how of the whole team, but at the same time, I was enhancing my skills. #FutureStarter Amanda Mohan knows from her own experience how important perfectly functioning passive safety systems are in vehicles. As a Senior Engineering Manager at ZF, she works on these systems to improve vehicle safety. 

Since the age of eleven, Amanda knew she wanted to be an electronics engineer. It gives her all the more pleasure knowing she is working towards keeping our roads safe.
