What a great show! We are honored by the large interest of visitors at our booth at the China International Battery Fair #CIBF in Shenzhen, China. We showcased our on-the-fly welding solution, especially suited for busbar welding. Other systems that ensure laser welding process quality are our OCT and ScaVis systems.
During our conversations with customers, we discovered that the main challenge seems to be optimizing production technologies and finding the best-fit laser remote welding equipment to become more efficient, guarantee high-quality standards, and maintain stable production.
 
Furthermore, this show provides not only a perfect opportunity to meet our customers but also to exchange ideas within our Blackbird team and with partners like ABICOR BINZEL.

Last week, we hosted in-house training sessions in our laser laboratories for customer service colleagues from ABICOR BINZEL, who came from various countries such as China, Korea, Mexico, and the US. The main focus of the training was on commissioning and preventive maintenance for remote laser welding systems, which included process control equipment such as OCT and ScaVis. 
It was a great opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge in person, and we also enjoyed some delicious German food which made the week even better! We would like to express our thanks to everyone for coming over to Garching and making the week successful.
