𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 We are thrilled to announce that we secured 3rd place in the #RoboCup Rescue Robot League 2024 in Eindhoven! After five days of intense competition against 18 teams in various robotic challenges focused on rescue scenarios, our hard work and dedication paid off. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Alexander Ferrein , René Rütters and Stefan Schiffer for their invaluable support and guidance. We also want to express our gratitude to the entire MASCOR Institute and FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences for their unwavering backing. Herzlichen Glückwunsch zu diesen tollen Erfolgen! 🎊👏 🥈 Beim Roboterwettbewerb RoboCup gab's Silber und Bronze für die Aachener Teams 🥉 In der letzten Woche traten 300 Robotermannschaften aus 45 Ländern beim RoboCup 2024 - Eindhoven an. Ziele der Veranstaltung: ✅ Roboter weiterentwickeln ✅ deren Künstliche Intelligenz fördern Auf diese Weise sollen die Roboter immer besser ohne direkte menschliche Steuerung operieren können. 🚄🌍 Behind the scenes: RailAIx's project development 🌍🚄 We are excited to give you an insight into Friedrich Betz's bachelor thesis, which was written as part of the RailAIxs research project. 🎓🚄 The aim of this work is to generate virtual worlds from real data! 🌐🌍 Parts of this work were recently presented at the Nordic Railway Seminar in Stockholm and offer exciting insights into our current developments. 📊✨ Did you know that game engines such as Unreal Engine 5 are becoming increasingly relevant in research? 🎮👨🔬 - In our institute's work, we cover many aspects of computer vision, including the application of AI and working with game engines for simulations. 🤖🌐 We will share more updates in the coming weeks.
