At the center of our brand from the very beginning: the #Hubertus stag. St. Hubertus Day is celebrated on November 3rd. Curt Mast, the inventor of the #Jägermeister , was a passionate and responsible hunter. He spent months tinkering with the secret recipe for his herbal liqueur made from 56 herbs, flowers, roots and fruits - a perfect treat for sociable moments after the hunt and now for special moments all over the world. Even before the market launch nine decades ago, Curt Mast simultaneously began designing an unmistakable brand personality that has remained virtually unchanged to this day. Together with graphic designer Günther Clausen, he developed the world-famous label with the legendary Hubertus stag: a symbol for the patron saint of all hunters, St. Hubertus. The legend: Hubertus was a reckless hunter with no sense of responsibility, a poacher who went hunting on a Good Friday and encountered a mighty stag. Just before he could shoot the arrow from his crossbow, the stag turned around and a radiant cross appeared between its antlers. Hubertus recognized this as a divine sign, threw down his weapon, knelt down reverently and vowed to mend his ways. From then on, he radically changed his life, becoming a fighter for a respectful approach to nature and the patron saint of hunters. Curt Mast had the credo of responsible hunting immortalized also in a second place on the label. Messe Berlin opened its doors once more for the Bar Convent Berlin . The Bar Convent Berlin is the largest trade fair for the bar and beverage industry. Bar owners, bartenders, distributors and manufacturers from almost 90 countries come to the BCB every year to make new contacts and find out about product innovations. The #Jägermeister stand, of course, was right in the middle and was as busy as ever. The incredibly great drinks that our bartenders from the #HubertusCircle prepare for the guests are always a very special magnet. That's why we'd like to thank them in particular, because they rock Berlin at these days: the bartenders didn't just show off their skills at the trade fair, but also at the Le Jardin Bar, the Jägermeister Party as well as at the Kitty Cheng Bar with a Jägermeister x Schweppes International Limited Takeover. Discover the exclusive Jägermeister Special Stamping Station on the Wurmberg in Braunlage at an altitude of around 900 metres, which we have launched together with the Harzer Wandernadel. The partnership between Jägermeister and the Harzer Wandernadel is characterised by closeness to nature, tradition, and community. The connection to the forest is in our name and is part of our history.
