Have you tried your hand at vegan protein shakes? If your answer was “no” it’s nothing to be ashamed of. But with the growing number of vegans, this range extension could really pay off. Be aware: In terms of flavour balance, vegan supplements are more difficult than their animal-protein-based equivalents. Plant sources like peas, hemp, rice and sunflower have more intensive aftertastes that need to be controlled. They’re also less creamy.
