EcoG is a Munich-based e-mobility start-up that offers standard-compliant technology for bi-directional charging. They have developed a solution tested with vehicle manufacturers in accordance with the ISO 15118-20 standard, enabling all vehicles to be charged bidirectionally. EcoG's software is compatible with all vehicle-to-grid-capable (V2G) vehicles, including those still in development. They also handle interoperability tests with vehicle manufacturers. As a core member of the industry association CharIN, EcoG has been actively involved in developing the application description for the ISO standard. The company aims to make bi-directional charging technology scalable for the mass market. EcoG closed a six million euro Series A funding round in late 2022.
