Quadriga Capital VI is part of the Real Deals Future 40 ESG Innovators. 
The Real Deals Future 40 ESG Listing, in association with PER, showcases alternative fund managers and advisers that are leading the way in transforming the industry’s approach to environmental, social and governance (ESG). Real Deals and PER received in excess of 100 submissions for this inaugural ESG list, showcasing the breadth and depth of innovation in that space throughout the global PE landscape. Each entry was then carefully reviewed by their panel of industry specialists, who had the tough task of selecting the 40 standouts from a very compelling field. The judges paid particular attention to the innovation displayed by the firms and individuals across several key areas, including implementation in both the portfolio and the organisation itself, reporting and wider stakeholder engagement.

Quadriga Capital VI is classified as an Article 8 fund under the EU’s SFDR regulation. It backs companies that enhance human well-being and personal growth, help with the preservation of the environment or undertake sustainable transformations driven by digitalisation and innovative technologies. The judges were especially impressed by the interesting and differentiating sustainable value creation system “QC-Sustain”. The QC-Sustain toolkit supports the portfolio with specific modules around governance, supply chain and materials, management, employees, operations, customers and products and services. QC-Sustain embeds Quadriga’s sustainability objectives and impact themes and accelerates the rate at which they are implemented within the portfolio.

We are pleased to announce the latest changes within the Frankfurt team at Quadriga Capital:

Thomas Render has been promoted to Partner. Thomas has made significant contributions to the success of the company. Thomas has a passion for building entrepreneurially driven platforms, and he is known for his strong capabilities in creating trustful relationships with family shareholders and founders. In his new role as Partner, Thomas will play a strong role in further enhancing our Tech-Enabled Service sector. We are proud to welcome Thomas to our partnership.

Alexander Binzer has been promoted to Investment Director. Alexander joined Quadriga Capital at the beginning of 2018 as an Investment Associate. Since then, he has supported the development and expansion of several investments of the Quadriga Capital funds. Alexander's dedication to his work and the company makes him a valuable asset, and we are excited to see what he will accomplish in his new role as Director.

Furthermore, we are happy to announce the addition to the team, Martin Richter who will join as an Investment Associate. Martin began his career at Moelis & Company and Houlihan Lokey and has gained private equity experience with Crosslantic Capital. We are excited to welcome Martin to the team and are confident he will contribute to our success.

Moreover, Peter Besthof has left Quadriga Capital in Frankfurt as of December 31, 2022, and has assumed the role of non-executive director for various Quadriga Capital fund entities in Luxembourg and Jersey. Peter's success and contributions to the company have been invaluable, and we are grateful for his service. He will be succeeded by Jasper von Richthofen, who has been promoted to COO and we are confident that Jasper's experience and commitment will make him a valuable asset to the team.

In recent years, the Aspire Education Group has developed into a leading platform for professional qualification and training in German-speaking countries. The group’s growth has been accelerated by expanding digital learning tools, innovative formats such as Hire-Train-Deploy and six strategic acquisitions since 2018 and with the support of the QC-Sustain team a more sustainable value was created. Today Impact & ESG Analyst Violetta Sulzbach attended the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) Investor Forum in Den Haag to represent Quadriga Capital as a Signatory to the GIINs Operating Principles for Impact Investing. A record number of 1,500 attendees from all over the world show the growing momentum behind the impact investing movement. In his opening speech Amit Bouri, CEO of The Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), emphasized that the impact investing industry is at a crossroads where the outcomes could either be continued “impact washing” or a world where investment has to account for its real-world impact. Bouri identified the three drivers of change in impact investing to be thoughtful innovation, courageous leadership, and confident action.
In the following breakout sessions, experts came together to discuss topics such as “impact investing opportunities around the globe” and “how to translate net zero commitments into real climate progress”. Tomorrow the first in-person Operating Principles for Impact Management Signatory event will be held alongside the Investor Forum to discuss ongoing initiatives, strategic planning for the coming year, the 4th anniversary event and recognize new Signatories.
