We've isolated the top 3 critical web application security vulnerabilities that our users face. Here they are:

🐞 NoSQL injection Vulnerability: 
A common threat due to the growing popularity of NoSQL databases like MongoDB. It underscores the importance of input validation and staying updated with the latest patches to prevent data leaks and system compromises.

🪲 DAST Vulnerability (Misuse of security headers like HSTS and CSP):
Often overlooked, these headers are crucial for thwarting attacks like XSS and ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of web content.

🐛 CSPM Vulnerability (Open EC2 IAM roles susceptible to SSRF attacks): 
Open EC2 IAM roles can allow attackers to move laterally and gain unauthorized access across cloud environments. Adhering to the principle of least privilege and utilizing AWS’s built-in security tools to mitigate risks stemming from security misconfigurations.

Yesterday at Leuven Slush'D, Roeland reminded me of the power of the product demo. He was walking around at  the conference with his laptop under his arm, always ready to show the Aikido Security product. 

You had a question about Aikido? Roeland showed the product and demonstrated how it handled x, y or z. 

All founders - including myself - should be doing that more. It's not only strong in terms of communication and making your software tangible. But the simple message it sends in terms of pride and ambassadorship for what you and your company do, is super powerful!

- Added Entro Security to Identity - They do pretty groundbreaking work at finding malicious API key usage and permissions across your stack

- Added Slauth.io to Identity and IaC - A great pitch for an AI copilot for creating IAM policies

- Added Aikido Security to Boundary Breakers - I thought 9 in 1 security scanning was more marketing than reality, but Aikido are truly pulling off the impossible with a commitment to openness that I haven't seen before. A no brainer recommendation for startups!

- Added Skyhawk Security to CNAPP - I love how Sysdig, Spyderbat, and Skyhawk are deeply invested in meaningful cloud native runtime protection, and each are taking completely different approaches.

- Added Lumos to identity - the corporate IT dream for SaaS management with users requesting their own Okta access 😍 

- Added ARMO to container vulnerability - somehow I hadn't added them yet because I didn't have a clear category for K8s scanning, but Armo is the best in the biz at it.

- Added Spyderbat to container runtime - I have a video covering runtime security with Spyderbat on the YouTube @latiotech!
