Denmark’s new supercomputer - Gefion | The Danish Centre for AI Innovation A/S (DCAI) is established as public limited company by the Novo Nordisk Foundation – that will own and operate the supercomputer named Gefion, with all revenue reinvested in the initiative. EIFO (Export and Investment Fund of Denmark) is a minority owner, holding 15% of the shares. 
Researchers from Denmark’s public and private sectors will be able to gain access to a state-of-the-art NVIDIA AI supercomputer optimised for large-scale projects using AI, as well as world-leading NVIDIA software platforms, training, and expertise.

Wow, what a day! How often do you get to launch an AI Supercomputer? That’s exactly what we did today at the Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI) , with a little help from Jensen Huang and H.M King Frederik among many distinguished guests. And we did it in style thanks to the amazing AI art created especially for Gefion by the talented Cecilie Waagner Falkenstrøm It was great to have the support of the Novo Nordisk Foundation ’s Mads Krogsgaard Thomsen and EIFO ’ Peder Lundquist , along with many from their teams. This is a milestone moment for #Denmark and the global AI community!
