Duquesne University is a private, Catholic university located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1878 by the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, it is the only Spiritan institution of higher education in the United States. Students in the John G. Rangos, Sr. School of Health Sciences (RSHS) are exposed to a broad liberal arts education with emphasis on understanding the scientific, theoretical and theologic constructs of the world.
