Congratulations to Associate Professor Claire Spears and Regents’ Professor Michael Eriksen on their $1.5 million CDC grant to expand the iQuit Mindfully smoking cessation tool. The project to increase its reach leverages community connections made through our Prevention Research Center and partnerships with organizations such as the Hispanic Health Coalition of Georgia. It’s another great example of how our faculty are working with diverse communities across Georgia and beyond to advance health equity.
