North Dakota State University (NDSU) is a public land-grant research university in Fargo, North Dakota. It was founded as North Dakota Agricultural College in 1890 and is part of the North Dakota University System. NDSU offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs and is classified as an R1-Doctoral University with very high research activity. The university operates agricultural research extension centers across the state and has a significant economic impact on the region.
