Our Nairobi Team enjoyed a hands-on session with Brian Sagala from TakaTaka Solutions yesterday morning. #TakaTakaSolutions is an end-to-end waste management company based in #Nairobi. Collecting around 90 tons of waste daily, the company is making a remarkable effort to keep Nairobi´s streets cleaner and healthier. Persistent is currently working on a more profound research into the #circulareconomy. The company insights and knowledge Brian shared with us were truly insightful. Thanks a lot, Brian and Taka Taka Solutions, for a great session and keeping Nairobi´s streets clean.

It's great to see our Legal Analyst Winfred Nakkazi Kiberu, venture building at our portfolio company TRī in Dar es Salaam. TRī sells electric, #IoT-connected 3-wheelers directly to professional drivers. This enables drivers to increase their profits by up to 2x compared to petrol powered vehicles. TRī  software allows for cost-efficient and real-time fleet and customer management, all while producing #zeroemissions.
