Working wherever you can vs. working at a fixed location At AfB, we found a way to provide both: On the one hand a lot of employees with office workstations have the opportunity to work remotely on up to 13 days per month, depending on their tasks and level of responsibility. This approach has proved successful. On the other hand there are our stationary workplaces: Many employees are in one of our branches or even on the road! In the truck, in the warehouse and in the store. They collect IT hardware from many countries, sort, test, record, delete, repair, clean, upgrade, install software, pick, pack and sell the devices with great dedication. Let's celebrate these employees! They are the ones who unfortunately often have to bear the financial, time and organizational disadvantages associated with compulsory attendance. These people are often less visible in our “new work & home office bubble” and keep companies and often society as a whole running. To all of you who work on site every day: Thank you for your tireless efforts. Your work is great, immensely important and extremely valuable! Also because it can't be done in the home office or as part of #Workation . And to all those who can choose between office and home office: Appreciate this privilege!
