Luko rejoint le groupe Allianz Direct

Cette fois-ci c’est la bonne. Nous sommes ravis de rejoindre Allianz Direct, filiale digitale européenne du groupe Allianz, avec pour ambition de devenir le leader du marché de l’assurance habitation directe en France, et de continuer à faire ce que nous avons toujours fait : simplifier et rendre l’assurance plus transparente.

On ne va pas se mentir, il y a eu des hauts et des bas : on a appris en marchant. On a réussi des choses, on en a raté d’autres. Mais, on a surmonté la tempête. 

💍 Ce n’était pas le plan original, mais il est devenu clair il y a quelque temps déjà que l’avenir de Luko impliquerait un rapprochement avec un grand acteur de l’assurance. 
Et enfin, nous avons trouvé le bon partenaire : unir nos forces avec Allianz Direct, c’est l’alliance du meilleur des deux mondes pour poursuivre notre mission, faire grandir la marque Luko, adossée à un expert solide qui comprend la valeur de ce que nous avons construit, et a démontré déjà la même vision et le même ADN dans plusieurs pays européens.

🚀 Ensemble, nous allons construire quelque chose de grand, encore jamais vu sur le marché de l’insurtech.

Nouveau calendrier pour Luko, nous espérons, le dernier.

Nous avons demandé au Tribunal de Commerce de Bobigny de placer Luko Cover, l’entité de courtage du groupe, en redressement judiciaire. Nous avons également demandé de prolonger la procédure de redressement judiciaire de Demain ES.

Pourquoi ?
L’objectif est de faciliter la reprise de l’activité Luko par un assureur de premier plan, qui a renouvelé son intérêt pour reprendre l’ensemble des actifs de Demain ES et Luko Cover, tout en limitant le risque de passif pour l’acquéreur.

Nos clients restent, bien entendu, couverts par nos assureurs partenaires (Luko Insurance AG, Wakam, GLISE, MNCAP). Luko Insurance AG opère indépendamment du reste du groupe et respecte toutes les exigences réglementaires en termes de solvabilité pour toujours assurer le remboursement des sinistres, sous la supervision de la Bafin (autorité de régulation des services financiers allemand).

Luko continue d’opérer normalement avec l’ensemble de ses salariés. Toute l’équipe reste sur le pont pour répondre à toutes vos questions et gérer les sinistres.

Luko, toujours debout
Demain ES, la maison mère de Luko, a été placée lundi dernier en redressement judiciaire par le tribunal de Bobigny.

Luko Cover SAS, courtier et gestionnaire des contrats d’assurance Luko, et Luko Insurance AG, l’assureur du groupe, sont deux entités distinctes : elles ne sont donc pas concernées par cette procédure. Luko Insurance AG, assureur régulé par l’autorité de contrôle prudentiel allemand (BAFIN), respecte amplement les ratios de solvabilité réglementaires (177%).

Les activités d’assurance et de courtage de Luko fonctionnent normalement : gestion de sinistre, indemnisation, service client, souscription, etc.
Même si tout fonctionne normalement pour nos clients, il faut reconnaître que la période est particulièrement difficile pour l’ensemble des salariés, avec le sentiment que le sort s’acharne.

Beaucoup de choses ont été écrites sur Luko ces derniers mois, des choses exactes, des approximations et du carrément faux. Sans refaire le match, on souhaitait partager avec vous les étapes traversées et celles à venir 👇
