Eilen juhlittiin DHL Expressin uuden päälajittelukeskuksen harjannostajaisia Helsinki-Vantaan lentokenttäalueella! 🥳🎉✈️ Pontoksen portfolioyhtiö AVIA Real Estate ja DHL Express tekivät viime vuonna sopimuksen lentoasemalle nousevasta uudesta, ympäristöystävällisestä logistiikkakeskuksesta. Projekti on edennyt suunnitelmien mukaisesti, ja rakennus luovutetaan DHL Expressille loppukesällä 2025. Keskuksessa on kiinnitetty erityistä huomiota kestävyyteen ympäristö- ja päästötavoitteiden osalta, ja sille tavoitellaan parasta LEED Platinum -ympäristösertifikaattia. 🌿🎁🛒 Miten kestävyyttä toteutetaan käytännössä? 🌿 Logistiikkakeskuksessa on maalämpökaivoja yhteensä 33 kappaletta, ja jokainen niistä on noin 320 metriä syvä eli maalämpöputkea on peruskalliossa yhteensä yli 10 kilometriä. 🌿 Maalämpö mahdollistaa sekä energiatehokkaan lämmityksen että kiinteistön jäähdytyksen. 🌿 Maalämmön lisäksi kiinteistön katolle asennetaan aurinkoenergiajärjestelmä, jonka myötä DHL:n hiilidioksidipäästöt pienentyvät vuosittain noin 33,7 t, mikä vastaa noin 1500 puun istuttamista. AVIA Real Estate investoi kohteeseen noin 34 miljoonaa euroa. #PontosPortfolio #Helsinkiairport

Yay! Pontos has welcomed on board our summer associate Emilia Suvanto who just landed back in Finland after 3 years at Birmingham where she completed her Bachelor of Laws degree. 🇬🇧 Interested in a unique working opportunity to combine her professional interests in corporate law and investment activities, Emilia's key responsibility is to onboard a new contract management system to Pontos. 🤓📝 She is particularly eager to delve into the legal work associated with private equity and real estate investment. Additionally, she's excited to develop her skillset and challenge herself with helping in tasks in finance as well as exploring various other topics, such as how companies implement ESG criteria in practice. I her free time, Emilia likes to spend time with her friends and family, do sports and spend time outdoors. She loves meeting new people, travelling and getting exposed to different cultures. Hotelli on alueen toiseksi suurin investointi heti terminaali 2:n jälkeen, ja sen rakennustyöt käynnistyivät lokakuussa 2021. “Hotellin valmistuminen on virstanpylväs, josta olemme erittäin ylpeitä. After a relaxing day retreat on an island, Pontos team is now ready for the summer! ☀️ Our team refreshing day was about resting and recharging together in the beautiful summer of Finland. 🏡🌿 The day kicked off with a splash on a sunny boat ride taking us to a cozy private cottage in the island of Suvisaaristo, Espoo. 🚤🌊🏖️ Our arrival was greeted by our talented cooking team who transformed fresh ingredients into a maritime lunch. Next, we transitioned into mindful mood by a guided outdoor group meditation session by VIRTA Well-being Oy 🧘♂️🌿✨ As the sun bathed us in its golden glow, we indulged in the simple pleasures of swimming, sauna and the company of co-workers - accompanied by some stand-up paddling.
