National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)

The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is a United States Department of Defense agency responsible for designing, building, launching, and maintaining America's intelligence satellites. The NRO provides reconnaissance support to the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense and conducts space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance for the United States.
