H ετήσια Άσκηση Ετοιμότητας Ευρείας Κλίμακας 2023 ολοκληρώθηκε με επιτυχία!
Ευχαριστούμε θερμά όλους τους φορείς που συμμετείχαν και ιδιαίτερα τις δύο αεροπορικές εταιρείες Aegean & Volotea.
Το σενάριο: «Αεροπορικό Συμβάν εντός Αερολιμένα: Σύγκρουση αεροσκαφών», απαιτούσε, για πρώτη φορά, τη συμμετοχή δύο αεροπορικών εταιρειών και δύο Φορέων Επίγειας Εξυπηρέτησης, Goldair Handling και Skyserv. 
 
Σκοπός των ετήσιων ασκήσεων είναι η δοκιμή του Σχεδίου Αντιμετώπισης Καταστάσεων Ανάγκης του Αερολιμένα (ΣΑΚΑΑ), ο έλεγχος αποτελεσματικότητας και αποδοτικότητας των διαθέσιμων μέσων, η ανταπόκριση των συστημάτων, η εξοικείωση και εξάσκηση του προσωπικού στην αντιμετώπιση συμβάντων και, κυρίως, η υψηλού επιπέδου συνεργασίας μεταξύ των φορέων, διασφαλίζοντας έτσι το υψηλότερο δυνατό επίπεδο ασφάλειας και ετοιμότητας για ανάλογες περιπτώσεις πραγματικών περιστατικών.

Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά ανακοινώσαμε την επέκταση της συνεργασίας με το Ινστιτούτο Οδικής Ασφάλειας - ΙΟΑΣ «Πάνος  Μυλωνάς» για τα επόμενα 3 χρόνια.
Στόχος μας η ενημέρωση, η ευαισθητοποίηση και η ασφάλεια των επιβατών, των επισκεπτών, των εργαζομένων και των πολιτών των 9 όμορων Δήμων της περιοχής των Μεσογείων, με δράσεις βασισμένες σε 3 άξονες:
🛑 ασφάλεια των επιβατών/επισκεπτών στους εξωτερικούς χώρους του αεροδρομίου.
🛑 ασφάλεια των επιβατών κατά τη μετακίνησή τους στη χώρα μέσω της εκστρατείας “Enjoy visiting Greece – Stay safe on the road”. 
🛑 ασφάλεια των πολιτών των 9 όμορων δήμων μέσα από προγραμμάτα κυκλοφοριακής αγωγής σε μαθητές Δ/θμιας εκπαίδευσης, με σκοπό την ενημέρωση και την ευαισθητοποίηση των μαθητών της περιοχής των Μεσογείων σχετικά με την υπεύθυνη συμπεριφορά στο δρόμο. 

Η επέκταση της συνεργασίας μας με το Road Safety Institute (RSI) Panos Mylonas έρχεται σε συνέχεια της ολοκλήρωσης του έργο για την οδική κυκλοφορία στις προσβάσεις των αναχωρήσεων και των αφίξεων του αεροδρομίου, με στόχο την επίλυση ενός χρόνιου προβλήματος και τη βελτίωση της εμπειρίας της αποβίβασης και της παραλαβής των ταξιδιωτών.
