The Eurobank Group, consisting of Eurobank S.A. and its subsidiaries, is a strong banking group with total assets of €79.4 billion and 10,643 employees (data as of 31 March, 2024). Eurobank Ergasias Services and Holdings S.A. (Eurobank Holdings) is the parent company of Eurobank Group.

Eurobank Research ranked first, as the most accurate economic forecaster for its overall projections for the Greek economy in the context of the FocusEconomics Analyst Forecast Awards 2024. Ms Fani Koutsou, Head of Institutional Derivatives Sales and SBL Trading at Eurobank Equities Investment Firm S.A., was quoted in an article posted on the Securities Finance Times highlighting the fact that Greece has removed the stamp duty on stock loans, opening up new opportunities for both onshore and offshore participants. As Ms Koutsou stated, “The stamp duty removal on stock loans is seen as a positive step, potentially leading to a well-functioning securities lending market and a promising future for Greece.”
