Meet our Compricer AB colleague Fredrik Thalberg, who is working as Conversion Manager. In this brief interview, he shares his journey in the Tech/Product team at Compricer that started one and a half years back 🌟

Fredrik, tell us your story in Compricer and what you do on a daily basis? 
Well, I started at Compricer one and a half years ago, and it has been really fun. My main mission at Compricer is to improve our products through hypothesis-driven experiments, focusing on making the user experience and conversions better across all of Compricer’s services. This involves various tasks, from creative design sessions to managing exciting A/B- (C/D/E/..😉)-tests that we run 24/7 throughout the week. Since Compricer includes everything from power and car/home insurance intermediation services to saving interest and personal finance coaches, it sometimes feels like optimising multiple websites with different target groups at the same time, but with one common message - to reduce expenses in people’s everyday finances!

How do you approach experimentation and learning in your role?
Experimenting isn’t just about success; it’s about learning along the way and that is the way to reach success. When I look for insights I both look at attention-grabbing quantitative data and the qualitative data that tells a story. All this will lead up to a strong and self-confident hypothesis worth trying out, together with a nice cup of tea of course ☕ Fail fast, learn fast and make the impact even greater than you initially thought, is my motto!


What do you like most about your role?
I love the freedom to challenge a product that is already performing well. That is a challenge in itself.


How would you describe the Compricer team in Sweden?
The secret sauce of the Compricer team is produced by ingredients made of dynamics, fast pace and people who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. We’re also being really nice to each other, which I probably like the most about this family. 


Do you have any fun winter plans to share?
I will have a few days off and then I will take the opportunity to break all New Year’s resolutions before they are fulfilled 😆  Go 2024! ❄️

In November, we at Lendo Group had a significant emphasis on health. Across countries and companies in Lendo Group, we have together engaged in various health related activities. Throughout the month, our teams have been enthusiastically stepping up to a step competition, complemented by engaging in CPR courses and an insightful self-leadership lecture on stress reduction techniques.

By prioritising health, we aim to enhance both the immediate well-being as well as long-term health and success at our workplace.

Meet our Lendo Danmark & Mybanker colleague, Marlene Jacoby, working as a Head of Product in Denmark. In this short interview she shares her journey starting at Lendo 5 years back and now working with both Lendo and Mybanker, part of Lendo Group🌟

Marlene, tell us your story in Lendo and Mybanker and what you do on a daily basis? 
I joined Lendo 5 years ago. I was the third hire in Lendo DK, and I’ve worked with various areas of the business - from customer support to partner management - and finally I transitioned into product work. Back when I started, I was mostly excited about the opportunity to actually help build something from scratch by working in a start-up-like setting, however within a larger company. And as time and experience passed, I realised that I truly enjoy building cool features and optimising the product experience for our end users. I became Head of Product for Lendo DK about one and a half years ago, which is approximately around the same time when Lendo acquired Mybanker, and I’ve recently taken over product responsibility for both brands.

What do you like most about your role?
That it’s dynamic, challenging and that my work has an impact. I enjoy being at the intersection of creativity, strategy and execution - it makes me feel like I’m actually moving the needle and making a difference, which is something that’s very important to me. I love that no two days are alike and that I’m always learning something new - either from my colleagues or in my field of work.

How would you describe the Mybanker and Lendo teams in Denmark? Which have now merged, do you now work as one team?
Yes, we have an amazing team in Denmark across both Lendo and Mybanker! Even though it’s only been about a year since the merge, we’ve managed to establish a close-knit and unified team that collaborates well and has a great team spirit. We were fortunate that the cultures of the two companies were a good fit from the beginning and then we’ve just built upon that. I would describe it as a place where people enjoy coming into the office, because you usually leave with more energy than you started out with.

Do you have any fun winter plans to share? 
Besides spending as much time as possible deep diving into the Mybanker product so I can get up to speed? 😀 I’m going skiing! I love skiing and snowboarding - I’ve been doing it since I was a kid, and I try to get away to ski at least once every winter.❄️
