On 20 June, S&P Global upgraded COLI’s long-term issuer credit rating to “A-/Stable Outlook”. COLI is the first and only Mainland Chinese property developer with “A-” rating by S&P Global. In addition, COLI’s outstanding senior unsecured notes’ rating was also upgraded to “A-” from “BBB+”. COLI maintained a leading position in rating by the three international rating agencies. S&P Global remarked in the report, “we upgraded COLI because we believe the extraordinary government support that its parent receives would flow to the company in a stress scenario and we continue to view COLI as a highly strategic subsidiary to its parent.” S&P Global supplemented that, “COLI’s 2024 contract sales should continue to recover, backed by key launches and it should maintain its business strength, backed by a greater focus on higher tier cities. To enhance Hong Kong youth’s understanding of the country, and promote communication and exchange within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, China Overseas Holdings Limited and China Overseas Land & Investment Limited jointly organized the "Love and Integration: Hong Kong Youth Exchange Tour to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" alongside the Tidbits of Star Mentors' Programmes. On 12 July 2024, the exchange group of 70 student mentees and volunteer mentors embarked on their visit, starting at China State Construction Hailong Technology in Zhuhai. During the visit, they were introduced to prefabricated construction and advanced energy-saving and environmentally friendly building materials. Following this, the exchange group proceeded to the Zhuhai Space Center, where they had the opportunity to explore its facilities. Lastly, the group visited COLI Midtown, a prominent urban complex spanning 240,000 sq m. They toured the landmark twin-tower office buildings, a Fortune 500 international brand hotel, a pedestrianized zone covering 50,000 sq m and exquisite long-term leased apartments.
