On Thursday, Ibec will host its most prestigious networking event of the calendar year, the Ibec President’s dinner, to mark the annual handover of the Ibec President. 

Imelda Hurley, CEO, Coillte, will pass the presidency to incoming President, Paul Duffy, Senior Vice President, Small Molecule Operations, Pfizer Global. When appointed in September 2022, against a backdrop of the Irish economy and society dealing with uncertainties associated with the cost of-living crisis and energy security challenges, Imelda set out to make sustainability and emphasising the importance of climate action initiatives within the business community a key focus of her presidency. 

As Chair of Ibec’s Sustainability Leaders’ Forum, Imelda supported the development of Ibec’s Climate Action Toolkit for Business and has generously shared her expertise, influence and leadership to the business community. On Thursday, we will offer our huge thanks to Imelda for her immense contribution and success in her role as Ibec President.
