A young Rajan joined Linde in 1999 as a Sales Officer for Bulk Gases continuing till 2004 when he decided to be involved in his family business. A decade later, in 2014, he rejoined the Linde workforce in the sales faction. The Linde India Healthcare team had successful engagements with medical professionals at various government medical colleges in Punjab, in an attempt to spread awareness about ENTONOX®. From 14 to 19 October 2024, the team conducted live demonstrations and seminars, interacting with the doctors, students, and medical staff at AIIMS, Bathinda, GGS Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot and Government Medical College, Patiala. ENTONOX®, a homogenous mixture containing 50% nitrous oxide IP by volume and 50% oxygen IP by volume, is an analgesic used usually in emergency situations and several invasive procedures. It is used for short-term procedures for pain management, including but not limited to labor pain management, acute trauma, dental procedures, wound debridement, and more. A Mechanical Engineer by education, Ankur worked over 15 years in other industries before joining Linde in 2023 as a Project Business Lead for Packaged Gases business. The Gases and Related Products segment primarily produces and sells oxygen, nitrogen, and argon gases. This segment engages in provision of pipeline gas supply to steel, glass, and chemical industries; liquefied gases through cryogenic tankers to various industrial sectors; and compressed gas in cylinders to fabrication, manufacturing, and construction industries. It also offers gases, such as medical oxygen, synthetic air, and nitrous oxide for pharmaceutical use, as well as medical gas distribution systems to hospitals. The Project Engineering segment is involved in the design and engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of air separation plants and related projects on turnkey basis.
