I remember my first conversation with Kunal Shah for CRED. 

That day we discussed a myriad of topics and there was one question I had no answer to. We discussed briefly about it but later that night, I dropped him a note after some research. 

A few days later, the talent team got back – and just like that I spent 4.5 excellent years at CRED, solving some of the most poignant problems. I could not have completed this journey without some amazing folks such as Miten Sampat, Niranjana Ravi, Swamy Seetharaman, Janani Viswanathan, Rahul Harkisanka, Vinayak N, Deepak Kumar N, and many others, and of course the leadership of Kunal. Always grateful!

And when some amazing journeys come to an end, a new one starts!

I am thrilled to share that I have joined Stable Money as the Chief of Staff and I am excited to solve the challenges of the fixed-income space with some of the most brilliant minds.

Money is the invisible glue that keeps families happy together. This is my personal, and maybe unpopular, opinion. I have seen many families, including my own, go through constant stress and unrest when money is not managed properly.

Who you marry, the city you live in, the peers you want to work with, and how you manage your money are three critical questions that require careful consideration. But we were never taught how to address them, especially money management.

Many around us (including us) have been using money as a measure of success, comparing themselves to others in a showy and attention-seeking way. And from personal experience, this behaviour does not lead to a happier life.

When you are investing, do it for yourself and your family. Don't be in a hurry; let it compound over a long period!

I had the opportunity to speak about my perspective on money management and investing. I hope you find it useful.

And thank you for having me on the show Ranveer Allahbadia, it was a pleasure!

He cheered the loudest for you at every school performance.

He stayed up late to finish a school project with you, even if it meant he was late at work.

He let you have the newest phone and happily used your old one saying, “Mujhe yeh wali achi lagti hain”.

He laughed with you when you were happy and listened to you when you were sad and he was the proudest of all your achievements telling everyone, “Arey yeh mera beta hain.”
