📢 We are excited to announce the completion of the Impact Assessment Report on intergroup activities between local and international students in Kyrgyzstan, supported by the International Organization for Migration (IOM). On September 20th, 2024, we presented the findings to various stakeholders, including representatives from universities, during a workshop at our office in Bishkek. In addition to sharing the results, we discussed recommendations for promoting social cohesion and fostering positive relations between local and international students. The highlight of the workshop was a vibrant and engaging discussion, where universities shared their best practices for integrating international students into their communities. We are hopeful that this workshop will spark ongoing efforts and collaboration between all stakeholders. 🙏 A big thank you to all participants for their active engagement, and to IOM and for entrusting Empirica to conduct this important assessment.

Empirica team is excited to be selected as one of the Global Research Partners at the Schools 2030 Initiative. Our upcoming study will focus on the role of teacher agency in driving educational change in Kyrgyzstan, particularly within the Schools 2030 initiative. Our research will explore different aspects of teacher agency. By examining how teacher agency influences the success of various educational initiatives, we aim to provide valuable insights that will inform future educational transformations. 🌟 We are excited to share the progress following our recent workshop with healthcare professionals from Jalal-Abad and Chui provinces! 🌟 Our trained healthcare workers have been actively sharing their knowledge about diverse nutrition for children aged 6-23 months with mothers and grandparents in their communities. 🏥 At local health clinics, these dedicated professionals are distributing information and brochures on proper nutrition during routine check-ups. They've also been holding special meetings with grandparents to emphasise the importance of a diverse diet for their grandchildren, providing them with healthy ingredients and easy-to-follow recipes. 🍏🥕🍚 A big thank you to our team and a team of health workers for their exceptional organisation and commitment. 🙌 We look forward to seeing the positive outcomes from these community efforts and continuing to advance child nutrition. 👶💪

📢 On July 22, we presented the preliminary findings of our research on the use of social and digital platforms and information and communication technologies in Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan! 📊✨ This exciting project for Search for Common Ground in Kyrgyzstan allowed us to apply a mixed-method approach, collecting data through online surveys, interviews, focus groups, and analysis of social media comments. 💬📱 Our team loved diving into this topic and discovering new insights about social media. #Research #SocialMedia #DigitalPlatforms

🌟 This week we recently conducted a workshop with healthcare providers from Jalal-Abad and Chui provinces as part of our research project with UNICEF on diverse nutrition for children aged 6-23 months. 🌱👶 We are committed to supporting healthcare workers in implementing solutions to improve nutrition for these young children. These solutions were developed based on our Behavior Insight Study conducted last year. 📊✨ The training session was highly engaging, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to Marina Duishenkulova from the National Centre for Promoting Health for her excellent delivery of the workshop. 🙌👏 We also thank UNICEF for giving us an excellent opportunity to engage in an exciting activity of a new format! We look forward to implementing and evaluating the solutions and learning from this experience! We also appreciate our team for their outstanding organization of the event. 💪🎉
