A Bernstein Research report states that Arbitrum was the fastest growing blockchain by user base, with the growth being driven by gaming and DeFi applications. 

The community and technological advantages of Arbitrum Nova, such as high speed and low-cost transactions, have attracted prominent games like Pirate Nation and Farcana. @Pirate Nation, which is played fully on-chain, achieved a major reduction in the cost of transaction fees by switching to Arbitrum Nova. Utilizing the high speed and low cost of Arbitrum Nova, Farcana pioneered a Play-To-Hash Bitcoin mining pool which is managed by Arbitrum based smart contracts.
