It was an honor to facilitate the Dubai Sports Retreat this week, on behalf of the Dubai Sports Council together with kyu Collective , ATÖLYE , SYPartners , Gehl - Making Cities for People , and Sid Lee . We had participation from Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, as well as sports legends Patrice Evra, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Sania Mirza, and more, with the aim of envisioning a new era of sport and talent development in Dubai. We’re so inspired to see our Regenerative Community Design Canvas creating impact worldwide! A few weeks ago, Biblioteca de la Creatividad in Colombia brought our open-source framework to life, guiding young entrepreneurs from Quiba, a rural neighborhood in Ciudad Bolívar, Bogotá, on a journey of discovery, connection, and vision. Through mindfulness practices like yoga and meditation, they explored Quiba’s unique potential, linking personal motivations with the neighborhood’s rich social, economic, and cultural landscape. Workshops like these help participants see how their projects can drive meaningful, sustainable change in their communities.
