While mioty is still relatively new to many, its value in water metering is clear. On November 6th, the mioty alliance General Assembly took place in Munich, marking the 5th anniversary of uniting top experts in the #IoT industry. This year’s gathering was an opportunity for members to dive into the alliance’s long-term strategic vision, exploring both technical advancements and political initiatives vital to propelling #miotyTechnology forward. Representing LORIOT at the event were our Chief Strategy Officer, Yannik Kopp , and Embedded Development Lead, Szabó Dániel . Yannik delivered an insightful presentation on LORIOT’s #HybridNetwork approach, showcasing how the seamless integration of #LoRaWAN and #mioty technologies can unlock the full potential of IoT, providing genuine value to diverse industries. Our team also had the chance to attend an open session featuring a small exhibition by alliance members, highlighting successful use cases and promising future deployments. We are always pleased to support Grid Tracer and Cellnex Switzerland in their efforts to implement mioty technologies across Switzerland. We also share this commitment with our partners, Miromico and akenza.io , highlighting the importance of partnerships in achieving successful IoT deployments. Wrapping up ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi, where we teamed up with the WIKA Group , Aloxy , and ASYSTOM . During the four days of the event, #ADIPEC2024 highlighted the rising demand in the #energy sector for #digitalization and seamless wireless #sensor connectivity—a testament to how pivotal #IoT has become in optimizing complex, high-stakes environments like #OilandGas . At the WIKA Group booth, Julian joined IoT leaders Frank Gielissen , CEO of Aloxy, and Pierre Naccache , Founder of ASYSTOM, each of whom brought a unique perspective and expertise to our discussions with the attendees. Together, we showcased our collective strength as trusted, innovative players within the IoT field. Since the beginning of our operations, WIKA and LORIOT have had a shared commitment to #interoperability , ensuring that our #IoTsolutions are as flexible as they are powerful, allowing clients to integrate any preferred hardware or software into their IoT ecosystems. This open approach has been central to our work with our partners and is key to the trust we’ve earned in the Middle East region. Our constant collaboration is already showing its fruits, like the project with Saudi aramco in which we help define IoT standards for the Middle East—a collaboration that established us as leaders in the market and led us to new projects that are scaling up across the region.
