One year ago we launched our Bitcoin marketplace with the goal of growing Ordinals. Today Magic Eden is your #1 destination for Ordinals. This is our journey.

Today we’re incredibly excited to relaunch Magic Eden Rewards, a testament to our vision of making digital ownership universal.

We started an NFT company because we believed NFTs are core to the future of human experience. Over the last year, we’ve seen incredible growth across chains, from the explosion of Bitcoin Ordinals to the resurgence of Solana and continued growth on EVM. Two years ago most NFT volume was on one chain but today we see there is incredible value in a platform that can address the audiences across multiple chains.

Magic Eden is proudly the leading cross chain NFT platform servicing Solana, Bitcoin Ordinals, Ethereum (soon), and Polygon. Magic Eden Rewards will begin on Solana. Over the next few months we will bring the rewards program across chains and integrate it into Magic Eden Wallet.

We are also excited to share that we are open sourcing all of our trading and minting protocols to be good stewards of ecosystem expansion. Decentralization is the cornerstone of the blockchain ethos and critical to the future adoption of NFTs. Ultimately, there are five billion Internet users and 99% of them have never owned an NFT before. We look forward to building the most seamless retail-friendly user experiences on top of protocols available for everyone, and engaging all NFT lovers through our best-in-class loyalty program.
