📣 Company news: Secondmind appoints Morgan Jenkins as Chief Product Officer.

We are excited to announce the strategic appointment of Morgan Jenkins as Chief Product Officer to further strengthen our company’s automotive design and development expertise and accelerate product development. Morgan joins us from Siemens Digital Industries Software, and brings over 15 years of product leadership experience. 

Harnessing his deep understanding of automotive engineering market trends and customer needs, Jenkins will lead the commercialization of Secondmind Active Learning technology and accelerate the capabilities and development of innovative Secondmind solutions for system design and calibration.

This week, we've been at the Generative AI for Automotive conference in Frankfurt soaking up some fascinating insights from manufacturers, policy advisors and academics on the benefits, challenges and potential applications of #genAI in automotive. 

Some really interesting talks, including:

- Kai Zenner (Head of Office and Digital Policy Adviser for MEP Axel Voss  in the European Parliament), on the latest developments with the proposed EU AI Act.

- Jörg Reichardt at Continental discussing potential future applications for predictive road viewing for self-driving cars.

- Gianluca Caprioglio at BUGATTI on the opportunities for AI to transform vehicle development efficiencies and the need for adjusted calibration and software-over-the-air updates over the entire lifecycle of the car.
