Unveiling Scroll’s Darwin Upgrade: Proof Recursion is Coming! 🥁

We are excited to announce the Darwin upgrade, scheduled to launch on August 21st, 2024.

This upgrade introduces a significant reduction in gas fees - by 34%, achieved by using a single aggregated proof for multiple batches, eliminating the need to finalize each batch individually.

These enhancements stem from our continuous efforts to improve the scalability and efficiency of Scroll's zkEVM solution.
